Facilities and Services at Bulgari Hotel London

Since the Bulgari Hotel London’s building structure is only a few years old, architect-designer Antonio Citterio has essentially been handed a clean slate to create his concept of a brand-new iconic London hotel. Unfortunately, the result is much less appealing than one might anticipate considering the brand’s silversmithing origins.

Many of the hotel’s amenities are located in the hotel’s five underground levels, constructed in classic Knightsbridge fashion. The largest is the spa, a large but cozy facility with massage rooms, saunas, steam rooms, and relaxation areas. It also has a pool with loungers and a gym with top-notch instructors. The hotel also maintains underground meeting and event spaces (including a sizable ballroom) and a 47-seat movie theater.

Bulgari Hotel London Rooms

Except for the incremental size increases from the already generously spacious Superior category, there is little difference between the 85 rooms and suites. Although polished wood floors and, in another homage to Bulgari’s history, silver-thread headboards towering over soft and welcoming beds brighten the overall austere color scheme of beige and silvery grey.

Bathrooms in every category are large, decorated with black Marquina marble, and furnished with opulently deep bathtubs. A separate steam shower is a unique perk of upgrading once more; spend lavishly on one of the premium Bulgari suites.

Bulgari Hotel London Restaurant

Sette, the unique Bulgari Hotel London restaurant, is a sensual, modern room on the ground level that serves flavorful Italian cuisine with attentive service. Although the atmosphere is cut down by the terrible acoustic design, which makes conversation at best difficult, waiters strut between tables and flourish plates with panache.

There aren’t many complaints about the meal, which adds subtle variations to Italian classics. Tagliatelle with Devon crab meat and a duck and foie gras ravioli stand out in a well-rounded pasta section. Elsewhere, you’ll find mouthwatering dishes like Angus beef with vegetable fricassée, bone marrow butter, and halibut with charred asparagus.

The breakfast menu includes variations of the poached egg, avocado toast, omelet, and full English, along with a continental buffet with a good range of pastries, cereal, and fruit.

Head to the hotel’s basement bar, Nolita Social, for a drink; it’s a small, cozy area with a great cocktail menu and live music. The Edward Sahakian Cigar Shop, which specializes in rare Havanas, is another option.

Bulgari Hotel London Reviews

The Bulgari Hotel London is fabulous, with excellent walking and shopping access. I have nothing but appreciation for the staff, who are always flawless. The only tiny drawback to the hotel was that our room wasn't cleaned in the evening while we were out for supper.
