Facilities and Services at The Landmark London

You are brought inside the reception room after doormen open the large, the red-brick building’s fan window-topped doors. This leads to the hotel’s grand Winter Garden, a stunning courtyard with a glass ceiling. The large area is adorned with towering palm trees, lush vegetation, street lamp-style lighting, and black balustrades, all of which contribute to the indoor/outdoor ambiance as well as the bedroom windows that look out over the action.

It is constantly bustling with people having afternoon tea, drinks, or dinner while listening to a harp or a piano play. Although there is a decidedly traditional vibe, there is no sense of fading grandeur because everything is kept in spotless condition.

Even though the hotel is busy, the staff frequently appears to be larger than the number of visitors and is very attentive; for example, at breakfast, champagne glasses are topped off immediately after you take a sip. Additionally, a top-notch concierge staff can book theater and restaurant reservations.

As one of London’s traditional five-star hotels, you can anticipate a good selection of amenities. A sauna, hot tub, and steam room in the spa area surround a decent-sized pool. The gym has glass walls with a view. Choose a facial if you choose a treatment because the spa employs Germaine de Cappucine skincare products, which are well renowned.

The Landmark London Restaurant

Plan a meal in the evocative Winter Garden, whether for afternoon tea, dinner, or the hotel’s fabled Sunday brunch with unlimited champagne, which must be reserved far in advance. The extravagant spread resembles the enormous buffets typically found in the United States.

Start with the hot breakfast selections, which feature dishes like small eggs Benedict and French toast with maple syrup poured on top. Then it’s on to the cold bar, where you can create Caesar salads of your own with silvery anchovies, thick parmesan shavings, and crisp lettuce while enjoying chilled mussels, king prawns, and some surprisingly good sushi. Large roast beef, hog, and lamb joints are served next. Other major dishes can include aubergine tortellini or a strongly flavored monkfish curry with coconut.

Even though food fatigue may set in by this point, the dessert table, with its orderly rows of little crème brûlées, macaroons in pastel colors, fresh fruit tarts, and blueberry cheesecakes, is hard to pass up. But, then, you might want to lie down.
